The Lion King

The Lion King is another popular Disney Movie, that we have all come to adore. The cute lion cub, his father- the proverbial king of the jungle, his scheming uncle...all make for an enthralling and motivating story for any child in his/her childhood. But, there is a subliminal message towards the end of the movie, where the father raises his son, so that all the animals in the jungle could gaze upon their future king.

The stars in the night sky clearly spell out the word " Sex"

If you have wondered why your elder brother/father or any other grown-up sat and enjoyed this movie with you while you were a child, the reason is now clear. This hidden message is percieved by the sub-conscious mind, and is accepted by the primal side in all of us i.e The Id as popularised by Sigmund Freud, in his pyscho-analytic theory.

Yet another subliminal message from Disney....whether it was a deliberate insert, or an effect caused by a frame error still remains a mystery.

The Rescuers- a 1970's Disney Cartoon.

This was a cartoon, that Disney bought out in the 1970's. It was called The Rescuers. The main characters are Bianca and Bernard. This is a scene where both of them, are fleeing a back alley.

As simple as it may look, take a careful look at the background..... What you may discover is rather shocking.

It is a picture of a topless woman, visible in the open window.

Disney did not deny this, and the cartoon was subsequently recalled.

Subliminal cues in Disney Cartoons!!!

Observe the pipe of the underwater accordion...or is it a pipe?

The priest who marries The Little Mermaid and her love....suddenly seems to have an erection!!
Walt Disney has made sure that his name would live on for generations upon generations. He and his myriad of cartoon characters including the ever popular Alladin and his big blue genie, Bambi the fawn and her tragic story, the Little Mermaid and many, many more. However, upon closer inspection, many of these ever popular, cute and innocent cartoons hold a very sinister secret. They veer towards ulterior motives, a far cry from the cute and cuddly image. This is because, the makers of these cartoon characteristics want a wider appeal, even amongst the adult population. The male sex organ, is a pre-dominant subliminal insert in the Little Mermaid cartoon. This is not apparent on a cursory glance, but a closer inspection does reveal it. The older audience perceive this cue subconsciously and like the cartoon. Sex, is a widely used cue in almost all forms of media, although cleverly disguised and hidden behind many layers of content.

"Children's" cartoons these are certainly not. The next time you are watching a cartoon with your little sister/cousin, you know just how "innocent" those cartoons are.
